Frozen LaplandWe began our tour in Rovaniemi, the provincial capital of Finnish Lapland, on the Arctic Circle. We wandered through snowy forests and frozen waterfalls, went sleigh riding with reindeer and husky dogs, sailed on board of an icebreaker, admired the Aurora Borealis, and drove north on snowmobiles to a fjord in Norway. The voyage to the Finnish and Norwegian Lapland was in February 2012.
