Extreme Adventures in The Maritime AlpsThe Maritime Alps ridge extends along the border between France (Provence) and Italy. In the canyons and cliffs we discovered a stimulating 'extreme adventure park'. Protected by diving suits we slid natural rock water-slides, rappelled (abseiled) down the rushing waterfalls, and jumped into the crystal-clear water pools. Over the cliffs we climbed the rungs up; crossed chasms on swaying monkey-bridges; and slid along steep zip lines. I was thrilled by the Canyoning and climbing Via Ferrata in July 2011. Page: 1 / 2
