Spectacular sights and freezing cold
The Annapurna Circuit Trek crosses a dazzling variety of landscapes, ascending from green foothills into mountainous deserts. I climbed towards frozen lakes, glaciers, and snow-clad peaks, and on the way crossed deep gorges and rivers. Due to the snowy weather, every day I set out very early, in freezing cold (around -10°C), to make it to the next accommodation before it started snowing. I went on this trek including several of its branches, in late March through the beginning of April 2023.
