Late Winter in The Black Forest
March 2013 was still gloomy and cold in The Black Forest (Schwarzwald) and Kaiserstuhl. Snow and frost covered the ground, piled on the bald tree branches, while the precursors of spring flowers began to split the layer of snow. The freezing experience was warmed by positive thinking and companionship.
